For some reason, there is only one word which comes to mind when you say the word ‘heels’, and that is ‘gorgeous’. They make you feel gorgeous. You actually do look gorgeous when you wear them. Your curves look much more than gorgeous as you strut around in them. And simply put, even the heels look gorgeous when you put them on. But wearing them for prolonged periods of time can be painful. So, here are a few pointers to help ease the pain:-
1) Shoe Shopping
When you buy new heels, make sure they have a very soft inner sole. Walk around the shop in the new heels and buy them only when you’re sure your feet are very comfortable in them. Also make sure the curve of your feet sits perfectly on the sole. If it’s in the air, it would strain your muscles and increase the pain.
2) The Magic Purse
A lady carries her whole world in her handbag. Why not carry your heels as well? That way you can put them on whenever you need to and you won’t have to travel long distances in them. It will save your feet from getting sore.
3) Walk in Heels as you should.
Don’t put your toes on the ground first, walk on the heels of your feet. Walk just the way you would in flats, place your heel on the ground first and then let the toes follow.
4) Wear Heels on Special Occasions.
It’s tempting to want to wear heels every day. They make you feel so sexy. But less is always more. So, save the sexy-ness for special occasions and keep your feet pain-less and happy the rest of the time.
