Mindfulness practices are good for you

In the past several years, mindfulness practices and meditation, became very popular among people. Reason why is simple. Everything you do comes from your head (brain), so if you are happier or calmer, you can do more things than if you are stressed! Scientist disagree with this claim, but many people who tried meditation, for example, are satisfied with it!

Mindfulness can make you a better person. According to one study, people who are practicing mindfulness have more empathy! This study was conducted in waiting room, where all chairs were taken. Actors were hired to act like they are in pain! People who were practicing mindfulness, only 6 weeks, offered to stand, so person with the pain could sit! On the other side, people who weren’t practicing mindfulness rejected to cede their chair. People who are meditating, will forgive in more cases than people who are not meditating! This is good for your relationship and for your job.

Mindfulness will make you calmer and more relax. One study found that people who are practicing mindfulness, are much calmer and less depressed. Because depression is the common problem, today, this is probably the most important benefit of mindfulness. You will have a bigger desire to make some progress, and to work, because you are calmer and you can handle problems easier. If you are curious, and you often wanted to know why Buddhist priests are always calm and they look wise, this is because they meditate every day! If you want to be more like them, and to handle every problem much easier than usual, try mindfulness practices.
